UC Irvine comes from behind to draw Toronto FC in friendly

UC Irvine overcame a two-goal deficit to draw Toronto FC in a friendly on Sunday at Anteater Stadium.

Toronto took a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute on a goal from rookie Tsubasah Endoh and added a second goal in the 55th minute from the penalty spot. But a Matthew Tilley penalty kick brought the Anteaters back into the game, cutting the lead in half in the 61st minute.

Mario Ortiz then tied the game in the 88th minute on a free kick that found Tilley, who fed Thomas Janjigian in the box to deliver the equalizer.
