Semifinals for NAIA Championship Set

Top-seeded Rio Grande rolled into the NAIA semifinals with a 3-0 win over Indiana Wesleyan and will be joined by No. 4 Missouir Valley, 10th-seeded MidAmerica Nazarene and Lindenwood-Belleville.

Rio Grande (21-1) takes on Missouri Valley (20-2-1) in the first semifinal match Friday at 4 p.m. followed by MidAmerica Nazarene (17-5-1) and Lindenwood-Belleville (17-7) at 6:30 p.m. at Seacrest Soccer Complex in Delray Beach, Fla. The winners will meet for the title game on Sunday at 5 p.m.

MidAmerica took down defending national champion Davenport 1-0 to qualify for the semifinals for the first time since 2012 and second time ever. Missouri Valley and Lindenwood-Belleville are in the semifinals for the first time while Rio Grande is in the semis for the first time since 2009 and the fifth time overall.
