Richie Laryea reportedly signs Generation adidas deal

Akron sophomore midfielder Richie Laryea has reportedly inked a Generation adidas deal with Major League Soccer.

The sophomore led the Zips with 11 goals and 7 assists this season and will finish his career in Akron with 12 goals and 9 assists in 42 starts. Prior to college, the Toronto native played club soccer with Sigma FC and was a member of the Canadian U18 team.

Laryea will join Georgetown junior defender Joshua Yaro, North Carolina junior midfielder Omar Holness, Clemson junior goalkeeper Andrew Tarbell and Syracuse sophomore midfielder Julian Buescher, who have all reportedly signed GA contracts. The league is also targeting Wake Forest freshman midfielder Jack Harrison and has made an offer to Creighton junior forward Fabian Herbers.
