New Mexico commit scores in wild LA Galaxy II comeback

New Mexico commit Ethan Zubak made the most of his second straight appearance in the USL with LA Galaxy II on Saturday, netting a goal in the 81st minute that started a three-goal comeback for Los Dos.

The 17-year-old checked into the match in the 74th minute for Jose Villareal and slotted home his first USL goal after making a near post run. The appearance was the LA Galaxy Academy forward’s third after making one appearance for LA Galaxy II last season.

Zubak was also involved in the second goal, which Ryo Fujii finished when the ball came out to him after Zubak’s ball across the face of the goal was deflected.
