Maryland draws NYRB II 2-2

Friendlies

Eryk Williamson started the spring exhibition season right where he left off in the fall, scoring one of Maryland’s two goals in a 2-2 draw with USL side New York Red Bulls II in North Jersey on Sunday morning.

Jorge Calix picked up the other goal in the draw for the Terps in the first game of a tough spring schedule that also features Columbus Crew, Philadelphia Union and DC United on the road. The Terps only spring home game is on April 23 against Temple (An Alumni Game will be played April 30).

During the trip to the Big Apple, the Terps got to also site see and take in former teammate Tsuabasa Endoh’s debut for Toronto FC against New York Red Bulls.
