Jeremy Ebobisse signs GA deal with MLS

Duke star Jeremy Ebobisse will not be returning to campus, but he won’t be going to Europe either.

According to The Washington Post, the junior forward who has been attracting interest in Europe after a host of standout performances with the U.S. U20 team has been signed by Major League Soccer to a Generation adidas contract, making him eligible for the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.

In the meantime, the Bethesda, Maryland native will either train with DC United because of the proximity to his home or go out on loan to USL club Richmond Kickers, where he will have a chance to play.
