Jason Wright’s breakout sophomore season with Rutgers has caught the attention of the Jamaican National Team.

The reigning Big 10 Offensive Player of the Year is training with the senior national team for their first camp of 2016 from January 18-24.

Wright has been a regular with Jamaica youth national teams, playing in the 2011 U17 CONCACAF championships and U17 World Cup with the U17 team. He’s also competed with the U20 team and joined the senior team last March for a friendly with Cayman Islands.

He led the Scarlet Knights with 31 points in 2015, 13 goals and 5 assists.
