Fabian Herbers joins Generation adidas class

Generation Adidas

Creighton junior Fabian Herbers will reportedly be leaving school early after all and entering the MLS SuperDraft as part of the Generation adidas class.

Herbers wasn’t on the initial list announced by MLS last week, but has reportedly signed ahead of Thursday’s draft in Baltimore.

The German was the runner-up for the MAC Hermann Trophy after a monster year that saw him score 15 goals and lead the nation with 17 assists.

He joins Joshua Yaro, Jack Harrison, Andrew Tarbell, Richie Laryea, Julian Buescher and Omar Holness in the class. Holness has not officially been announced by the league as a member of the class, but he too has reportedly signed a deal.
