Ethan Zubak forgoes college eligiblity to sign with Los Dos

USL

New Mexico commit Ethan Zubak won’t be heading to Albuquerque this fall. The talented forward has opted instead to sign a pro contract with the LA Galaxy’s USL club.

The LA Galaxy Academy forward was already playing with LA Galaxy II as an amateur player, making eight appearances since his debut in August 2015.

“I have very mixed emotions,” New Mexico head coach Jeremy Fishbein said in a news release. “I’m extremely happy for Ethan that his boyhood dream has come to fruition….sooner than expected from our end. He was able to negotiate a tremendous contract which ensured both his college education and professional playing aspirations.”
