While discussions and criticisms of college soccer usually tie in with the performance of the U.S. National Team, there are hundreds of players in Division 1 soccer who aren’t even eligible to play for the U.S. Just about one in every five players on Division 1 rosters is from outside the U.S. and at least 18 countries have current college players in their youth or full national team player pool.
