Bill Boyle named head coach at Niagara

Coaches

Albany assistant coach Bill Boyle has been named head coach at Niagara.

Boyle will replace Eric Barnes, who compiled anĀ 11-39-7 record over three seasons as head coach. Niagara announced in November that Barnes’ contract would not be renewed, paving the way for a change in leadership of the program.

Prior to his stint at Albany, Boyle served as an assistant at Colgate from 2011-2014. His CV includes assistant coaching at Michigan State from 2010-2011, a head coaching job at Division III Olivet from 2005-2008 and time spent coaching in the Olympic Development Program and high school soccer in Michigan.
