Adam Najem leads list of top performers in Week 6
Akron junior captain Adam Najem led the Zips to two wins in Week 6 with a pair of game-winning goals against Penn State and UAB. The Red Bulls Academy product also added an assist on the only Zips goal he didn’t score. He has six goals and four assists on the season and 24 goals and 17 assists in 53 career games for Akron.

Fabian Herbers, Forward, Creighton
The junior from Germany continued to stake his claim on the Hermann Trophy with a two-goal week, including the game-winner against DePaul to keep his streak of scoring a goal or recording an assist in all of Creighton’s games intact.
JP Correa, Midfielder, Rutgers
The fifth-year senior scored the game-winner six minutes in and dished out three assists to lead the Scarlet Knights to an 8-0 win over Loyola on Tuesday night.
Chris Wehan, Midfielder, New Mexico
Wehan scored his fourth game-winning goal of the season and 8th overall in a 3-0 win for New Mexico over San Francisco on Wednesday.
Vincent Mitchell, Midfielder, Butler
The senior scored two more game-winning goals for the unbeaten Bulldogs during the week to run his season total to eight.
Francis de Vries, Defender, St. Francis PA
The junior defender from New Zealand was the NEC player of the week for the second straight week after scoring a goal and adding two assists in two games for the Red Flash.
Nick DePuy, Forward, UC Santa Barbara
The junior forward scored a pair of game-winners for the Gauchos.
Gordon Wild, Forward, USC Upstate
The freshman phenom added a brace to run his nation-leading goal total to 14 and added an assist while being named Atlantic Sun Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
Jose Gonzalez, Midfielder, UCLA
The freshman from Mexico opened the scoring with a penalty kick and delivered the overtime winner to lead UCLA back to .500 with a 3-2 win over Washington over the weekend. The rookie is second in goals on the Bruins with 5.
Patrick Foss, Defender, Virginia
The junior scored on two long-range free kicks, including one in the waning minutes of the game from behind the midfield stripe to lead Virginia to a 3-2 win over Louisville on Friday night.
Keegan Rosenberry, Defender, Georgetown
The senior defender contributed on both sides of the ball for Georgetown helping them keep a clean sheet on the defensive end and delivering the game-winning goal to beat Xavier.
Danny Jensen, Forward, Ohio State
The junior scored a pair of game-winning goals for the Buckeyes in wins over Louisville and Michigan State.
Julian Buescher, Midfielder, Syracuse
Buescher recorded the first multi-goal game of his career in leading the Orange to their fourth straight win.
Eric Klenofsky, Goalkeeper, Monmouth
Klenofsky posted a pair of clean sheets on the week, including a 7-save performance in a 1-0 win over Iona.
Raul Gonzalez, Midfielder, Memphis
Scored a hat trick to lead the Tigers to their first win of the season and was a key player in Memphis’ win over UConn.
